User-driven Innovation - Results and Recommendations

This report summarizes results and recommendation from the three industry reports on user-driven innovation.

The report shows that Danish companies has a strong focus on customer needs, and that Danish companies use business partners in compiling knowledge on customer demands and customer experiences.

It is the overall assessment that Danish companies have come a long way in applying user-driven innovation, but that there is still room for improvement in certain areas.

The report recommends that better research and education in knowledge and skills related to user-driven innovation be implemented. Furthermore, the report recommends the establishment of dedicated knowledge centers that can facilitate co-operative efforts with companies in analyzing customer demands.
